interthink.ca is owned by Interthink Consulting. You can access our site and browse the information contained within it without providing personal information.
This site includes the use of online forms, which are provided in order for you to be able to request information, products or services from us. Requests for information, products and services can also be made to us through email, telephone or facsimile.
Information Use
We collect and retain personal information for the following purposes:
- To process orders for products and services.
- To process registrations for training courses, seminars and workshops.
- To communicate with you about products, services or offerings in which you have expressed an interest.
- To update you on new products, services or activities associated with our research.
- To conduct and invite participation in current and future research projects.
- To conduct market research surveys to evaluate the effectiveness of our web site, information, products or services.
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s computer tied to information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. We use session ID cookies on some sub-systems of our site. Once users close the browser, the cookie simply terminates.
Log Files
Like most standard web site servers we use log files. These capture information about our users including internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.
Special Offers and Updates
Users that request information or download a resource will be asked for contact information such as name, company and email address. Users may occasionally receive information on products, services, special offers, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users’ privacy we provide the option to not receive these types of communications. Please see the Choice and Opt-out sections.

Sharing – Legal Disclaimer
Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our Web site.

We do not share web site usage information or personal information with third parties.
Choice/Opt Out
Users who no longer wish to receive our newsletter and promotional communications may opt-out of receiving these communications by replying to an email message with ‘unsubscribe’ in the subject line or emailing us at info@interthink.ca. We also offer an opt-out mechanism on our subscription page.
Correcting, Updating, Deleting, Deactivating of Personal Information
If a user’s personally identifiable information changes (such as postal/zip code, phone, email or postal address), or if a user no longer desires our service, we provide a way to correct, update or delete/deactivate users’ personally identifiable information. This can usually be done at the subscription page or by emailing us at info@interthink.ca.
Notification of Changes
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.
