Our founder was also co-lead investigator, along with Dr. Janice Thomas of Athabasca University, of the Value of Project Management Research study. This project, the largest study conducted in the field of project management, mobilized 48 researches on 5 continents. It explore the value that organizations seek in implementing project management, the practices they actually implement in response, and the outcomes they actually attain. This was a pivotal study in understanding what works, recognizing that what works depends on the objectives you seek, and how to implement strategic capabilities that consistently deliver the value that is important to you.
