FSESO Member Survey 2023

The current active membership of the organization is 251. This is down from 371 in 2015. A sizeable portion of this reduction is a result of member retirements. At the same time, there is a continued demand for the delivery of the CFSC and CRFSC program. To help us plan the growth of the organization, your input is needed to prepare for the future sustainability of the FSESO.

There is a desire to ensure that members are kept up to date on events and are aware of activities and updates within the FSESO. To avoid an overwhelming amount of email, and to provide a predictable frequency to member communications outside of urgent issues, we are looking at establishing a new newsletter going forward.

There has been a considerable amount of feedback already regarding the current web site since its launch. As part of delivering on the new strategic plan, we are looking at making the web site more functional, more accessible, and easier to navigate and use for both members and prospective students.

After an unsuccessful launch of online ordering, we have recently provided the ability for members to pay for orders using a credit card, by creation of an online invoice of your order.

This year we re-launched holding regional workshops throughout the province. We are intending to continue mandatory regional workshops, and to supplement these with training improvement workshops to allow you to continue to hone and refine your instructional skills in delivering the program.

With the launch of the strategic plan, there are several opportunities to get involved in supporting the on-going evolution and success of the organization.
